And that is because, in numerology, we interpret the meaning of the numbers by first reducing them into single digits.
Therefore, when we reduce 10, 19, and 28 to its single digit, it will result in the number 1.
Numerology can help us gain insights into the characteristics or behavioral patterns of people we know. And this is done by studying their numerology charts.
What you may find interesting is that people who are born on similar birth dates may behave the same in more than one way.
For example, do you sometimes notice that two or more friends or people you know have similar personalities or behaviour? Yet, they could be born years apart.
And it could well be explained by looking at their numbers, where they may have similar numbers appearing in their charts.

Coming back then, when we pair any of these four dates in August with different years’ groupings, we will observe that the numerology charts are the same.
And this is where we can classify them into the nine groups of Character Root Numbers (a.k.a. Life Path).
In the Pythagorean Numerology system, which is the basis here, all birthdates will be reduced into single digits and represented by the numbers 1 to 9.
If you are new to numerology, this may be hard to understand at first, but the subsequent sections will hopefully help to explain further what I mean.
Overview for People Born on 1st, 10th, 19th and 28th August
In the Pythagorean Numerology method (or sometimes known as Pythagorean Triangle Numerology), people born on such similar dates should exhibit similar characteristics or behaviours as mentioned above.
And the table below shows the grouping of people born on the 1st, 10th, 19th, and 28th August across different years by the character root numbers.

When you pair the four birthdays against each column of years above, the numbers that appear in the numerology chart will be the same.
Therefore, in principle, people born on a similar grouping of years and days in August will likely behave the same. And they are thus group according to the 9 Character Root Numbers.
To orientate, let’s take 10th August 1981 as an example. The birthdate numbers will be reduced to a single digit, arriving at Character Root Number 1, the Leader. This is calculated as 1 + 0 + 0 + 8 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 1 = 28 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1.
People born in 1972, 1981, 1990, and 1999 with the same day and month will have the same numerology chart. The same applies if you subtract nine years from 1972 and so on, down till 1909.
However, there will be some differences on the right side of the numerology chart for people born after the year 2000. The specific years compared with the above are in the years 2008, 2017, and 2026.
You can perform a few calculations to test out this numerology permutation. It will help you to have a better understanding.

In the subsequent sections, we will go through the Character Root Number 1 personality group as an example and learn about their characteristics.

General Birthdate Numerology Personality of People Born on 1st, 10th, 19th, and 28th August
We will start by understanding the general personality traits of people born on these birthdays, as it will be the same for all character root numbers.
And this general view can be observed by looking at the numbers in the top left and left outer section of the numerology chart as shown below.
In the above chart, we see the number patterns 1-8 in the inner triangle. And in the outer character, we see the 8-1 number combinations.
At a high level, the number 1 represents leadership or independence, while the number 8 symbolises responsibility.
People born on these birthdates are diligent and hardworking. We may often find them in a busy state of mind or feeling stressed.
And this is because they have the inherent energies of being responsible and tend to shoulder most of the burden.
They are the type who demands a lot on themselves and are very disciplined.
As such, they may also portray a serious-looking personality in front of others.
On the positive side, this makes people trust them as they are dependable, and thus they will be given many opportunities that provide them with the platform to succeed. And this is evident by the eventual number 9.
However, they must learn to relax and delegate as they tend to shoulder all the burdens by themselves.
Character Root Number 1 Personality Group
Having seen the general characteristics, we will do a case study by pairing the 1st, 10th, 19th, and 28th of August with the years 1972, 1981, 1990, 1999, 2008, 2017, and 2026. Subtract nine from 1972 consecutively if you want to know the years before this year that are in the same grouping.
People with any of these birthdates will belong to the Character Root Number 1 (Leader) personality as their core.
We will use the birthdates 10th August 1981 and 10th August 2008 to illustrate.
Birthdate Numerology Personality Before 2000 – Character Root Number 1
From the completed chart above, we can observe the core character as the 9-1-1 number pattern.
People born on these birthdates have the personality of a lone ranger. To succeed, they either have to work alone or prefers to work things out by themselves.
They are great problem solvers, creative, courageous, and have a strategic mindset. They can devise unique and unconventional solutions.
However, they may tend to be individualistic and maybe too authoritative for some people’s liking.
And this is observed via the 2-1-3 number combinations, which appear twice in the outer sections of the chart.
The 2-1-3 combination is also a special number pattern when appearing at the bottom section of the chart.
It is an indication that people with this number pattern at this position of the numerology chart will have a fiery temper that can erupt anytime, anywhere!
Another observation from this numerology chart is that it lacks the vibration numbers 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Among the four numbers above, the numbers 6 and 7 would be the most valuable, followed by the number 4.
To augment the vibrational energies of the number 4, hematite and amethyst may be good choices.
Amethyst may also be beneficial to enhance the vibrational energies of the number 7.
And for the number 6, labradorite or peridot are good choices.
Birthdate Numerology Personality From 2000 – Character Root Number 1
Looking at people born after 2000, the core difference in the numerology chart from those born before is on the right sections, as shown above.
On the top right section of the chart, we see the 2-8 number pattern. It suggests that people born in such related years are good at expressing themselves and are good conversationalists.
As number 8 represents responsibility, they are patient with people and strive to ensure that their message gets across.
Coupled with the 9-1-1, the combination of the personality traits suggests that they can communicate their ideas, solutions, or strategies better than their seniors born before 2000.
But just like their seniors, the chart does not have the numbers 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Great ideas will need proper planning to bring them into reality. Hence, people associated with this numerology chart should work with other people having the vibration number 4, or ideally, the Character Root Number 4 personality.
But being the 9-1-1 personality type, they might want to work alone. Hence, augmenting the vibrational energies with the number 4 may also be a good idea.
Hematite and amethyst are good choices to enhance the vibrational energies mentioned above.
Other than the number 4, the numbers 6 and 7 are also missing. These relate to wealth or wisdom and luck, respectively.
Amethyst is also suitable for augmenting the vibrational energies of the number 7 as well. And labradorite and peridot are fitting for enhancing the effects of the number 6.

The 2-1-3 number pattern appearing at the bottom section of the chart is a special indication that a person has a fiery temper. When triggered, they may go on an explosive outburst of anger without consideration of time and situation.

One question I do have was around reducing the numbers 10, 19 and 28 to single numbers to give you the number 1, however I am confused with the number 28 and how you do that?

For 28 to be reduced to the number 1, you will take 2 + 8 = 10. And then, 1 + 0 = 1.

I have dabbled a bit into numerology, even using it as a reference when looking into the astrological signs between the belief systems belonging to the Chinese and Greek it is interesting to see how much they parallel with each other. My birth year is 1970. It’s July 24, 1970, to be exact.
